With every day that goes by, we seem to be hearing more and more good pieces of news. Two vaccines have been approved and many countries are tentatively relaxing their restrictions for Christmas. Spain has brought about a host of changes before the Christmas season. This YouTube channel is recommended if you want to be kept up to date with the situation in Spain and Portugal. However, if you are one of the few pilgrims that are walking in Portugal now, you will find it difficult to cross to Galicia. The Spanish Government have closed the border until the 9th of December.
Back home, we can wander anywhere in our own county, we are in Level 3. I haven’t been going crazy just yet. I went to the office on Friday and I got a haircut while the barbers were open. There is no guarantee that they will remain open after Christmas. Afterward I took a walk to the coast beside me.

April 10th, 2021 is very much on next year and I have been planning for it..even though I have put on some weight! For Christmas, I have been dropping hints that any gift should have the Camino in mind. Linda wrote a great post about great presents for a pilgrim, you can read it here.
Until April, I wait. You can’t buy patience, you can’t receive it as a gift. You must teach yourself to be patient.
