A long time ago, I found a video created by an Irish pilgrim on YouTube. It must be over 5 or 6 years at this stage. Every so often I would return to it and read the comments. The video seemed to have struck a chord with returned pilgrims, including myself until one day. I searched for it and couldn’t find it on YouTube. I was so dissapointed. Every so often, I would search “Irish pilgrims perspective” in Google, just to see if I could find it – only to be attacked by ads from travel agencies. Sigh – it wasn’t to be, but was it?
I randomly opened Dailymotion – another video streaming website and lo and behold, there is it. I can’t guarantee how long it will be there but I will savour it for the time being. Why don’t you enjoy it too?
Buen Camino!

Beautiful video. Never saw this one before. It just captures the special feeling and emotions of the Camino so well. 2011 was the year I first set foot on the Camino and the video just transported me back to that special time !
Well spotted Peregrino and thanks for sharing 👍

Thanks for the comment PJ and I hope you are well.
It was made by a guy by Tim Dawson in 2011 and was taken down from YouTube due to copyright. His channel is still there but the video is one another platform. It was one of the first videos I watched on YouTube about the Camino and got me hooked. He managed to capture freedom and put it in a bottle!
Buen Camno peregrino!
