Happy Sunday! In this weekend watch, I’ve taken a detour from the diary clips showing scenery (not that that is a bad thing!). This is a clip of the Camino Frances in its entirety showing the towns and cities it passes through. I must message the creator and ask how he made it.
Happy Weekend folks and I hope you are having a good one. The sun is out here in Dublin and if it remains the same tomorrow, I’m seriously tempted to head for the hills. Anyway, my next Weekend Watch is from Carl Pople. He walked in May and June of this year, around the same time as me. I recognised alot of the sights in the clip and the choice of Home by Edward Sharpe as music is perfect. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Happy Weekend folks! Hope you had a good week and you are enjoying the outdoors. This weekend watch is from two girls from California who uploaded a video to YouTube. They write “It’s not a walk, it’s a hike”, which can be very true. This clip shows you the highlights of their Camino. I recognise a lot of the places, including Manjarin, O Cebreiro, Molinaseca, Roncesvalles and of course Santiago. They seemed to have a great time, but their joy in reaching Santiago is really tangible.
I discovered this series a number of weeks ago and decided to hold off uploading one until he had reached Santiago (on YouTube). The uploader, Petrum. gives a great account of the full French Way….the people he meets, the views, different albergues, towns. Alot of it is in Spanish but there are English subtitles. I would encourage you to watch from the start. The language is a little crude at times, but hey! it’s as real as you get :). Enjoy!
